What does it take to make the list?

  • More than one element in the display
  • LOTS of lights
  • Music or sound is a plus even if it isn't timed to your display as some are.
  • Creative display or themed to a current pop culture item (like  5710 Mt Vernon way in Mount Pleasant)
  • Over the top additional decorations with the lights.
  • Fun factor...... hard to define but if it makes you go "WOW" or makes you smile when you see it then it qualifies

We hope you have as much fun looking at these displays as we did researching them and we look forward to seeing your suggestions on ones that we missed. (cause after all we aren't God and dont see everything)

Racine "High"lights

You have the map but now here are the some of the reasons we picked the ones we did.

  • Of course the Racine Zoo is on the list because it is easy to access and all viewable from main street.
  • We especially liked the North Bay neighborhood because so many people participated.
  • Hialeah and Appaloosa Trail are NOT TO BE MISSED we couldn't pick just one house because there were so many fabulous choices
  • Also the Hampton Heights neighborhood had some standouts but overall had lots of lights so if you can only hit one that is the one to get
  • And our top pick in Racine this year is 2616 Northwestern Ave.  Gawdy during the day, beautifully lit at night.

Kenosha "High"lights

You have the map but now here are the some of the reasons we picked the ones we did.

  • All of 15th Ave from 80th St to the Dead end at 8330.  This is a neighborhood that gets excited about Christmas lights
  • You can zig zap through the whole square section of 22nd Ave to 30th Ave between 80th and 85th St and not be able to list them all.
  • 7951 33rd Ave Starts off its whole street with an amazing display (they are the top of the page looped video this year)
  • Of course Christmas Ln shouldn't be missed (68th St from 57th Ave to 63rd Ave) Bring a donation for the charities they support if you can
  • and our top pick in Kenosha this year is 9937 Cooper Rd in Pleasant Prairie because not only does it have a massive light display and sound but it has multiple songs to enjoy for as long as you wish.

What are we missing?

We know that our list is incomplete and you probably know addresses we should add to the list.  Email us below with any we should add and we can actually update the list in real time once every 48 hours.  Let's build the biggest and best light list there is!
